In 1992, a small lumber supply store called Himalaya Trading was opened by Mr. Solomon G. Tan in Meycauayan, Bulacan.
By sheer word of mouth, Himalaya Trading grew and gradually began to offer other building materials and supplementary hardware. This led Tan to envision a “convenience store” of construction supplies that specializes in all variants of lumber products – the realization of which became PAN-PLY MARKETING CORPORATION.
PAN-PLY was established on December 15, 1993 at Unit 1401 ElcanoPlaza, 622 Elcano Street, Binondo, Manila, Philippines.
To satisfy the need for convenient pick up and delivery points for its provincial customers , PAN-PLY opened two more subsidiaries located at both ends of the National Capital Region: BEACHWOOD CONSTRUCTION SUPPLY – located in Dasmarinas, Cavite; and MEYCA PACIFIC – the company’s showroom, strategically situated in Meycauayan, Bulacan.
Today, PAN-PLY MARKETING CORPORATION continues to distinguish itself from others in its capacity to store, transport and deliver large volumes of building materials needed in all stages of construction. It has served the needs of more than 500 customers nationwide, making it one of the leading lumber suppliers in the construction industry today.
